The Australian Digital Health Agency in collaboration with the National Allergy Strategy is hosting a Webinar and Q&A on My Health Record for people with allergic conditions.

New consumer resource for entering allergy information into My Health Record
The National Allergy Strategy Australian Digital Health Agency Working Group has developed a consumer guide to entering allergy information into My Health Record, available here.
New anaphylaxis animations
The National Allergy Strategy has developed two new animations:
- How to safely remove ticks developed in partnership with ASCIA, Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia and TiARA.
- How to position a person having anaphylaxis in partnership with ASCIA and Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia.
- These animations will be used in ASCIA anaphylaxis e-training and shared via social media to help raise awareness.

New 250K youth project animations
- New webpages and animations for teens and young adults living with food allergy have been created to help them manage their food allergies at parties and at concerts and festivals.
- Different versions for the 250K school aged teens and 250K young adults websites have been created.
- These animations will be promoted via social media to help educate teens and young adults.

Food allergen management in food service
- All about Allergens for Schools and All about Allergens Children’s Education and Care have now undergone their final stakeholder review and are being created as online courses.
- With the changes to the Food Standards Code to include plain English allergen labelling, we are in the process of updating our consumer videos about how to understand food labels for food allergy.
- Visit the Food Allergy Aware resource hub which provides links to information for consumers, health professionals, food service staff and staff working in schools and children’s education and care.
Anaphylaxis prevention and management in school and children’s education and care project
- We greatly appreciate the contributions from key stakeholders, staff working in schools and children’s education and care and parents. Their contributions have helped develop and guide the standards and supporting resources.

Food allergy prevention project (Nip allergies in the Bub)
- The new video providing guidance on how to introduce the common allergy causing foods as well as our new website content is being promoted through a social media campaign aimed at parents.
- We are also promoting food allergy prevention information and resources to health professionals via social media.
- The infant feeding helpline (ph:1300 661 312) is available for parents, carers and health professionals.
